Fixed Gear

I found these pictures on the camera from yesterday. Jacob ran out with the camera chasing a squirrel and came back with these. He has a fixed gear bike that I have yet to understand. It has no breaks. It's crazy. It would scare me to death to ride a bike with no brakes. He is pretty good at it though. Fixed gear means: a bicycle that has no freewheel, meaning it cannot coast, because the pedals are always moving when the bicycle is in motion. When we go on our bike rides he will go down a huge hill and where I can just coast down he has to constantly pedal. We watched a documentary on Netflix about fixed gear bikes. Made me appreciate them a lot more. But here are his cute pictures of his bike.
